Organizers

Meet our 2017 team of organizers!!

Megan Morsie

Megan is the Systems and Development Manager at a host travel agency (which is just a fancy way of saying she makes sure things work). She first got into web development with HTML & CSS on her Neopets site when she was 12. She has been working with WordPress since 2013.

Megan co-organizes the NEO WordPress Meetup and blogs about PHP, WordPress, and some other things in her spare time. Also, she loves guinea pigs.

John Parkinson

WordPress user since 2010. Have spoken at various Ohio WordCamps. Volunteer with <a href=”http://wordpress.tv/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer”>WordPress.TV</a> for 2 years. Actively maintain 6 WordPress websites and 2 personal websites.

Samie Murch

Samie works for AtNetPlus in Stow, Ohio. She works as the Web Services Manager. She helps clients create beautiful and functional websites. She’s also pursuing a degree in Digital Science with a focus in software development at Kent State University.

Alex Standiford

When he’s not talking about the business of craft beer, Alex builds websites and WordPress plugins. He works to empower his clients to turn their web presence into a money-generating machine. He does this with thoughtful WordPress customizations that focus on streamlining online marketing processes.

William Bergmann

Bill got his start in web design hand-coding HTML on his Sega Dreamcast.  That’s almost all you need to know- he’s a Renaissance Nerd of epic proportion, which means that a perfect night would involve either Return of the Jedi, Clerks, or World of Warcraft in some order.  During the day, he maintains the web properties for Reidy Medical Supply, and at night, he rants about politics and video games at IndignantGoat.com, and if you use The Twitter.

Nicole Robinkoff

Nicole is a creative-at-heart, working in IT as an ITSM System Administrator. She uses WordPress to support her personal blog Nickle in a Pickle, and enjoys being part of the WordPress community, traveling to multiple WordCamps and as an organizer for WordCamp Kent.

Angie Bergmann

Developing websites since 2000, Angie started using WordPress in the b2 days, before it was even WordPress. She counts among her strengths SEO and PPC skills, and design centered around accessibility and usability. Beyond WordPress, she is passionate about infertility advocacy, gaming, and German Shepherd Dogs. She is involved in the WP community as a co-organizer of the Northeast Ohio WordPress Meetup, and does freelance webdev under the BergPress imprint. You can find her personal blog at radkitten.nu or on Twitter as @radkitten

Rich Robinkoff

As a dedicated lifelong learner and educator, Rich is an immersive technology enthusiast (with a focus on mixed reality) who loves teaching people how to embrace current and emerging technologies.
